Remote Computer Support — Help Wherever You Are

Computer problems don't always require an in-person visit. I provide secure remote computer support for home users and small businesses throughout the United States.

I can remotely help with slow or freezing computers, pop-ups and malware, email and Outlook problems, printers, Microsoft 365, software issues, new computer setup, and many other everyday technology problems.

Remote support lets me securely view your screen and work with you in real time—often resolving the problem in a single session without you having to take your computer anywhere.

Already Scheduled? Connect to Your Remote Support Session

When it's time for your appointment, follow these steps to connect securely to your computer. You remain in control of the connection throughout the session.

1. Download the Secure Support App

Click the Start My Secure Remote Session button below. Your browser will download a small temporary support application to your computer.

2. Open the Downloaded File

When the download finishes, click the file to open it.

If your browser asks whether you want to open or run the file, choose Open or Run.

3. Allow the App to Run

Windows may ask for permission to run the support application. Select Yes when prompted.

You may also see a security message confirming that you want to allow the application to make changes. This is normal when starting the support session.

4. Give Me the 9-Digit Session Code

Once the SOS app opens, it will display a 9-digit code.

Give me that code during our phone call or scheduled session. Do not share your session code with anyone else.

I'll use the code to connect to your computer.

5. You're Connected

Once connected, you'll be able to see what I'm doing on your screen while we troubleshoot the problem together.

You can continue using your mouse and keyboard, and you can end the session at any time.

Your Privacy & Security

The SOS app creates a secure, temporary remote-support connection for your session.

  • You must initiate the connection and provide the session code.

  • You can see what I'm doing while we're connected.

  • You remain in control of your computer.

  • You can disconnect the session at any time.

  • Closing the SOS application ends the support connection.

  • A standard SOS session does not give me permanent access to your computer.

Never provide a remote-support code to someone who contacts you unexpectedly. Only connect when you have a scheduled or confirmed support session with Rubee Rose IT Consulting.
