Remote Support Overview

To provide remote assistance, I use a secure remote support tool that allows me to connect to your computer when you request help temporarily. The small support agent you will download enables this connection so I can view your screen and assist with troubleshooting, configuration, or training.

The software only allows access with your permission and during an active support session, and you can disconnect the session at any time. This allows issues to be resolved quickly without an in-person visit.

All remote sessions are secure and encrypted, and the support agent does not allow ongoing access unless specifically configured and approved by you.

Downloading the support agent called the SOS App simply enables the connection so I can help resolve your issue efficiently while you remain in control of your computer.

This video explains how Splashtop allows a technician to remotely connect to a user’s device for troubleshooting and support. It demonstrates the basic process of starting a remote session and how the software enables secure assistance.
