Meet Rubee Rose
“When things get messy, confusing, or stubborn… I help straighten them out.”
Bringing Enterprise-Level Technology Insight to Home Users and Small Businesses
Technology should make life easier, not more complicated. At Rubee Rose IT Consulting, my goal is to bring clarity, structure, and practical solutions to the way people and organizations use technology every day.
My name is Dawn Agee, and I founded Rubee Rose IT Consulting to help home users, small businesses, and organizations get more value from the systems they rely on. With a background in information systems, knowledge management, and enterprise technology environments, I bring a thoughtful and practical approach to solving technology challenges.
Throughout my career, I have worked across multiple federal agencies and mission-critical environments where technology, data governance, and information management play a vital role in operational success. These experiences have shaped my approach in delivering products and services. My focus begins with people, processes, tools, and culture to ensure clarity, usability, and sustainability.
Experience That Bridges Enterprise Systems and Everyday Technology
My professional background includes data and content management, information security and governance, application management, knowledge management, and enterprise collaboration platforms. I work with home users, small businesses, and organizations to create more efficient and secure technology ecosystems. My goal is to simplify complex systems, improve information flow, and help people get the most value from the tools they use every day while creating a culture of continuous improvement.
Most recently, I served as a Knowledge Manager and SharePoint Administrator, where I led the development of knowledge management programs and practices that improved collaboration and efficiency across a large enterprise organization. This work included creating structured Microsoft 365 environments, developing policies and procedures, and creating systems that help people find and use information more effectively in their everyday work while posturing for an evolving AI landscape.
These same principles can benefit businesses of any size—and even individuals who simply want technology that works better for them.

A Foundation of Service
Before entering federal service spanning the U.S. Navy, Army, and Air Force, I was on active duty in the United States Navy as a Radioman and IT Specialist, with assignments that included work with Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station (NCTAMS) Rota, Spain, an F-14 fighter squadron and deployment aboard the USS John F. Kennedy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom following the events of September 11th.
These experiences instilled a strong sense of discipline, reliability, and service values that continue to guide my work today.
Community and Personal Interests
Outside my professional work, I enjoy contributing to community initiatives and striving to create the best version of myself possible by continuing to grow spiritually, mentally and physically. As a part of giving back I have delivered online safety workshops for seniors through the Center for Cyber Safety and Education, participated in the development of exam content for future cybersecurity professionals, and volunteered in events supporting veterans and youth.
When I’m not working, you’ll most likely find me outdoors fishing or beachcombing along the Gulf Coast or the Chesapeake Bay. I call home Florida and Virginia and reside with my partner and our Jack Russell Terrier, Oakley.
